Lanolin is obtained from the wool of the sheep which is a renewable resource. There is neither animal testing nor cruelty to the sheep as the sheep have to be shorn on an annual basis.
Lanolin does not contribute to deforestation as do other cosmetic ingredients such as palm oil and its derivatives.
